An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the yearly meeting where all homeowners are invited to review the HOA’s finances, vote on board members, and hear updates on community business. It may also include reports from committees, proposed rule changes, and planning discussions for the year ahead.

Why is the AGM important?

It’s a central moment for accountability and transparency. Homeowners can ask questions, express concerns, and help shape the community’s direction through their votes and input. Most governing documents, and some state statutes, require associations to hold an AGM annually.
