What is an incident report for an HOA?
An incident report for an HOA provides details regarding an accident resulting in personal injury or property damage on common property in a community governed by a homeowners association. It may also be used to provide details regarding a perceived or proven violation of the HOA’s regulations. Such reports may be used to support insurance claims, to initiate or to defend against legal actions, or to inform HOA board actions.
